We've had many different 4S17 model plates over the years from Custom Armor Group, KDH and others and these are one of the most affordable Level 4 options on the market. These plates came from an unknown government agency as surplus as they are past heir warranty period. Expired armor works as intended and does not really "expire" only the warranty expires if the plate is defective. Odds are you're buying these to LARP anyway so who cares?
