This is a 10 Pocket 1749B ALICE Ruck from LBT. The ruck bag has a very large main compartment with a divider at the bottom to separate sleep systems and bulky items. Across the front are 8 zippered pockets. 6 Medium general purposes on the front and on the sides are 2 vertical long general purpose pouches with compression straps. The top flap of the ruck has two compartments, bringing the ruck to 10 pockets. The total volume of the pack is 5,765 cubic inches, just under 95 liters and it includes 3 ports at the top for hydration bladder tubes, wires or antennas. The main compartment is secured shut with a draw string opening and a buckled top flap. Overall this is a very large ruck with tons of storage and organization.

Currently only available in the Army's UCP Pattern. These rucks usually fetch close to $500+ in other colors. These are fantastic bags in a crappy pattern. Perfect for those who really don't care or who are just starting to ruck.

Features:

  • Backpack Top Flap Closure – Top of pack is secured closed with a buckled flap.
  • Backpack Compression Straps – These straps help tighten down gear and keep your load stable and secure.
  • Exterior Pocket Compartments On Backpack – Pack has exterior pockets for storing smaller items that may be needed to get to quicker than if stored in main compartment. Exterior pockets also offer additional areas for organization of items.
  • Large Main Backpack Compartment – Main section of bag has a large compartment for storing bulkier and main items.
  • Bottom Compartment On Backpack – Backpack has a separate compartment on the bottom for storing bulkier items.
  • External Frame Backpack – Pack has an external frame that the bag is attached to. External frame packs are generally great for very heavy loads and simpler construction.
  • ALICE Webbing – Has ALICE compatible webbing on the exterior for attaching ALICE and other compatible accessories.
  • ALICE Compatible – This item uses the ALICE, All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment, system. This system was used by the US Military starting in 1973 and was replaced with MOLLE gear. The system uses simple metal clips (slide, belt keepers) to mount pouches and accessories to webbing on gear and equipment.
