This particular helmet came through the door here in Alexandria. This is a SWCC issued mid-cut helmet made by Armor Source with a custom paint job, custom counterweight plate and Norotos night vision mounting system. The Armor Source mid cut styled like this borrows the design from Gentex on their "Phonetalker" helmet also issued to Navy personnel. This cut was done exclusively for the SWCC community. This helmet features a Norotos 3 hole mount with a TATM dovetail arm. On the rear of the helmet there is a custom counterweight plate attached with self tapping screws that doesn't seem to have destroyed the ballistic integrity of the helmet itself.
