Once in a while we get access to auctions and we're able to spread the love. These are surplus (unknown origin) helmets that were recently purchased from an auction near our store. We do not know the exact origin but we do believe these are older Law Enforcement helmets and not Military. We have separated out these helmets based on style and not grade as all the helmets seem to be about the same condition. We would almost say that all these helmets were never worn but were likely tossed around as the paint does show wear while the chin straps look unused and like new.
These black MICH helmets all have "Expired" written on each helmet in silver sharpie which would elaborate upon our police surplus theory as all of these helmets are less than 10 years old with 2016 manufacture dates.
No cherry picking as all helmets are in the same condition. there is not one that is "better" than another.
