We've had many different SAPI style plates over the years from Ceradyne as they've been a premier body armor provider to the US Military ang Government since the inception of the SAPI Plate. These plates came from an unknown government agency as surplus as they are past heir warranty period. Expired armor works as intended and does not really "expire" only the warranty expires if the plate is defective. Odds are you're buying these to LARP anyway so who cares?

Features and specifications:
- Standard 10”x12” Medium style Shooter’s/SAPI cut plate will fit most industry standard plate carriers.
- Ceradyne plates often do not have any sort of NIJ markings as they are tested in Government labs for Government buyers. These likely meet and exceed NIJ 0101.06 or Level 3 Protection.
- Berry Compliant, manufactured in Pennsylvania
- The 10” x 12” shooters cut plates are considered nominal and the actual measurement is 9.5” x 11.5”.
- Approximately 5 pounds per plate (2.267 Kilograms)
- .75” Thick
- Texturized Synthetic Coating.
- Most MFG Dates are in 2006, These do not have a warranty period like most Government contract plates.
