The AGM NVG-50 is a dual-channel night vision system. The NVG-50 uses optics which give it a wider 51 field of view with the tradeoff of shorter eye-relief. The NVG is made of a compact composite housing for durability, and features advanced multi-coated optics. The device can be outfitted with either a Gen 2+ or Gen 3 high-performance image intensifier tube (IIT). The bright light cut-off feature ensures that the high-quality photocathode tube is protected. The NVG is also equipped with Manual Gain Control, which adjusts the image brightness, providing the highest possible image quality even in changing light conditions.
