Original WW2 era British manufactured helmet nets.
Made in 100% cotton, coming in a variety of shades of green. We offer them in darker and lighter shades.
This particular batch of nets came out of Norway, where it was some sort of aid from the British government to help Norway rebuild their army after the war.
Due to the 70 odd years of storage, these do have a bit of a musty smell. Some surplus is just like that.
They're designed for the British Mk.II helmet but will fit the Mk.III and Mk.IV just fine. Any helmet around that size will be fine. These will go on a US M1 Helmet, but it is an involved process and a pain in the rear to do, so be warned if you're buying this for your M1. It'll go on, but itll involve hot water and a second set of hands.
Size is hard to describe given the variations in shrinkage, but they're all about 18" square when lightly stretched.
Helmet(s) and stand are not included.
