After the Korean War, we figured out that our field gear wasn't great. So we made the M56 gear! Which needed some tweaking, so we came up with the second pattern in about 1961, which was a little better.
This is the pouch for both the first aid packet and the compass. This is the hardest bit of normal M56 gear to find because these were used clear into the 80s. You see old salts in Grenada wearing these all the time.
It comes with one ALICE clip to clip to your belt or your suspender strap.
This is grade 3. Grade 3 would be called "used" by most people. These have more fading on them than the other grades, but will still function perfectly fine. If the clip is rusty, we will include a second one for you, no charge.
