Propper International is the only manufacturer to have been granted permission by the creator and copyright holder of the Air Force Digital Tiger Stripe pattern to produce and sell a commercial version of the U.S. Air Force Airman Battle Uniform (ABU).
The 100% Cotton Ripstop version of the ABU is designed for personnel requiring a 100% cotton garment for their application, such as electricians, welders, or firefighters. While the garment is still NIR-compliant, it does not include a permanenet press finish on the fabric.
The commercial version of the ABU is assembled at Propper International manufacturing facilities in the Dominican Republic, a GSA-approved country. |
